My first son was born in Wales, where my husband and I had already been living for several years. We went through many trials, the difficulty of which was exacerbated by the fact that we could not rely on the help of our immediate family. At that time, I understood how much a well-chosen midwife, hypnobirthing instructor or lactation consultant can do for new parents. Thanks to these amazing women I was lucky enough to meet in Wales, the beginning of our parenthood journey was a little easier for us.
After the birth of my second son, I decided that I, too, wanted to be part of this imaginary support network and support the mothers around me.
I see breastfeeding not only as providing nourishment, but as a complex way of caring for the child. But at the same time, I believe that in order for this method to work fully, the mother must also be cared for. That's why I always try to find ways that meet the individual needs of both mother and child during consulting sessions.
